In life, being poor is only a state of mind
With all the riches of this great land
We have been blessed throughout time
Yes, its greatness is plenty
And before the houses, cars and stuff
The earth’s bounty was already more than enough
It’s important to realize that living is richness in itself
So many don’t get the chance to live it for themselves
Some lives are cut short
Before a chance to really begin
I’m witnessing this as we speak, Good bye my new friend
I’m saying these things because
As the day seems so long
We have to keep our own minds
On the good not the wrong
The more time that we worry
The shorter life will be
Just live it while you can and see all you can see
Love big and love true
Take chances
Start new
Don’t dwell on the past
It’s done & don’t last
If there is a new day
Stand big in your way
Learn from your mistakes
And don’t do them again
When you love ~love true
There’s nothing better to do
Money doesn’t last
And when life is over
Then it’s threw
Love on yourself each day
If you can’t love on you
Then how do you expect love to come running your way
Know the mind of a baby
Is the best way in all the land
Cause they don’t know hate that could only be taught by man
As one conjures up excuses
And run from a new chance
Don’t blame it on me
I’m seeking my path
The way is sometimes cloudy
With trouble on every hand
You’ve been graced with power over your situation
As long as you understand
It’s not what u can do
But who keeps you on every side
You have no reason for worry
When all this power is in your life
